It certainly is a daunting challenge but one that will be worth the time and effort I suspect.  Social media is still fairly new in the UK and no one has yet attempted this before so it can&#039;t be too difficult, is my reasoning.

The methodology I will employ will assess usage of Social Media tools like RSS, blogs, online video, podcasts (and for the truly innovative, social media platforms like Twitter, Digg, and Facebook) amongst all FTSE 100 companies.

The idea is to serve up tables showing whether each company uses any of those tools, studying 10 companies at a time.  Analysis of best practice will then follow.
